Smart, automatic, and designed for easy integration — the SlabTank™ Rainharvester Auto is a fully automatic system that pairs seamlessly with the SlabTank™ or other underground water tanks – delivering pressurised water to your home or garden, and automatically switching to mains water when your tanks run low.
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE SYSTEM
The SlabTank RainHarvester Auto is a turnkey rainwater harvesting system that automatically pumps stored rainwater for household use and provides seamless backup to the mains supply.
In normal operation it draws rainwater from the tank through a Wallace Hydrojet HJ60 pump. If the tank runs dry or power fails, an RM20 Aquasaver valve instantly switches the house supply over to the town mains water. All components work together with built‑in safety: the HJ60 pump includes automatic “run dry” protection, and a float switch shuts off the pump when tank levels are low. This ensures continuous water service (via rainwater or mains).
HOW DOES THE SYSTEM WORK?
Rainwater is pumped from the tank to the house using the Hydrojet pump. A float switch cuts power if the tank runs low, and the Aquasaver valve automatically switches supply to mains. When the tank refills, the system switches back to rainwater. Built-in valves protect the setup and meet plumbing codes. compliance requirements
