QPOD™ 100mm Rib Spacer

QPOD™ 100mm Rib Spacer is used for the Rib spacing in Raft Configuration where ribs are located at 1200mm centres.

Spacers provide accurate spacing and cover for steel available in 3x sizes; 100mm for Ribs in ‘Raft’ configuration, 300mm for load beams & boundaries, 400mm for boundary walls by garage openings and other sloping slab entrances. QPOD™ Spacers clip on to the QPOD™ system.

QPOD™ 300mm Spacer

QPOD™ 300mm Beam Spacer is used for the exterior beam spacing and load bearing wall spacing in Raft and Continuous configurations.

Spacers provide accurate spacing and cover for steel available in 3x sizes; 100mm for Ribs in ‘Raft’ configuration, 300mm for load beams & boundaries, 400mm for boundary walls by garage openings and other sloping slab entrances. QPOD™ Spacers clip on to the QPOD™ system.

QPOD™ End Cap

QPOD™ End Cap is used for capping off open sided QPOD™ or QPOD™ extensions in Raft and Continuous configurations.

QPOD™ Closed two sides pod don't require end caps and are supplied pre-closed and assembled in groups of four to represent a 1100x1100mm pod.

QPOD™ 100mm Extension

100mm QPOD™ extension clips securely on  the side of the  QPOD™ creating a void filler up to 300mm at 100mm increments as required to suit the plan layout.

QPOD™ Closed 2 Sides

550x550mm QPOD™ closed two sides, supplied assembled together as four to make a 1100x1100mm pod suitable for ‘Raft’ configuration with 100mm ribs at 1200mm centres. Also available as all sides open for continuously placed sections.

40mm Upstand Built-in

Patented Built in mesh spacer designed to space the mesh up off the pod 40mm as per floor steel cover specifications.

This means mesh is supported at the correct height and at regular intervals, every QPOD™ features this up-stand resulting in ultimate mesh support when pouring and finishing the concrete surface. mesh centered properly in the topping ensures optimum strength in the overall finished slab.

Assembly Clips

Positive quick assembly clip system for QPOD™  Spacers on all sides. Optimum spacing for Rib & Beam spacers is 1200mm centres.

Spacers provide accurate spacing and cover for steel available in 3x sizes; 100mm for Ribs in ‘Raft’ configuration, 300mm for load beams & boundaries, 400mm for boundary walls by garage openings and other sloping slab entrances. QPOD™ Spacers clip on to the QPOD™ system.

Delivery – QPOD required for standard residential floor build can be delivered on a standardsingle axle trailer or back of a ute, compared to multiple truck deliveries for polystyrene pods.
Storage – QPOD stack neatly taking up minimal storage space.

Continuous Solution

QPOD™ Flooring System can be supplied as a continuous run on ‘Good ground’ conditions, savings can be made on concrete usages and installation speed whilst maintaining a high shear strength and insulation properties exceeding that of traditional ‘slab on ground’.
